move address book icon

I use the address book a lot.

Could it be moved under the market menu, which currently has four icons: phone, contract, fax, and forum. There certainly appears to be room to do this.

I'd like the address book added to the four icons on the left die of the screen.

why you need the address book on market menu?

1. Mostly we use address book to send contract. so we have to find the company name and send it from warehouse.
2. The second use for market could be to add the name from the market to address book.

For first one - there is a address book under warehouse menu at the middle left corner.
For Second one - to add company name just click on the company name and the info of the company name come out. so, you can click address book there too, to add that company to the address book or you can click send contract to send products to that company.


So, what is that main purpose for your proposal. Only when we know what exactly is your proposal for we can answer the right one.

I put a bunch of info in the notes on a company, such as what they buy, sell, preferred Q, qty, price, and when (time of day) they do contracts etc. Thus, I use it as reference. So, I am constantly bouncing in and out of the address book. By placing it on the menu, many times it will save me a click or two.

I don't use it from the whse as often, because my company name field at the bottom of the screen auto completes (except on my Vista machine, grrrrr).

If I'm in the market, it takes two clicks to open the address book to find something, by placing on the menu, it saves me a step. I keep a lot of info in it, so this is a time saving, convenience feature.

Ohhh......I got an idea for that. Just open two tab. One for just address book. So you just need one click to open that tab for address book.


For me i open 3 tabs for kapiland.
First tab for front one - office, build, Research, Production and Sale
Second tab for - Warehouse
Third tab for - Market

If i need more i just one new tab.

For more info, If you don't know how to open the tab. Just right-click on the link you want to open and click open link in the new tab. THis don't work in all the internet explorer. If it didn't work just use open link in new window.

because it s a change that wont help that many players and I wanna keep my menus simple. It takes you 2 clicks to get to the address book and unless u have a 56kbit it should take less than a second. I dont see how this would improve the game. They should add a small calculator thats always visible or a mini kapitools.de add on. If you have firefox you can just add the address book link on the bookmarks bar.
