Improved Finance window

Post by Guest » 02.08.2007, 21:38

I don't know about anyone else, but I keep track of my finances from day to day. This can become very difficult, as I have to make it home from work by midnight game time every night to capture my financial information (I have an excel sheet that will be made public if my suggestion is ever implemented). How much extra work would it be to put in a function to go back in time with the finance window, even if just for a day or two? This would make the capture of financial performance much easier. I like to know my profit margin on a daily basis, as well as a number of other statistics. So, the ability to look at yesterday's financial information would benefit me greatly.

I like the idea of one or two days. However, nothing longer than that as it would take WAY to much space.

I never really know my daily production costs. The Financial screen ATM is useless. It tells me lies and changes it's mind. Hey no skin off my nose, I have given up looking at it.

yep, the financial screen is useless at the moment.

But proper financial statements would require really lot of programming effort and most probably it would enhance strain on the server. It would be nice and proffesional but is not really neccessary.

Code: Select all

Income statement ratio
Production turnover 1,36
Profit ratio 6,00%

General indicator

Cash flow 19 760 630,92 46,2%
Research 1 946 750,00 4,6%
Cash 3 520 535,40 19,8%

Account payable 2,9%
Expect growth / day : 1,03
In addition, you can insert a excel graph of the fixed asset evolution. According to those ratio we could have a variable "interest rate" at the Manager level.

It is my suggestion.
