GREEN PRODUCTION--GREENER = BETTER FUTURE??!

Haha I love how this topic started out with the simple idea of more ways to produce certain products, and now we are talking about waste, degradation, government and laws and such...
You might as well make the workers get sick from their work environment too, therefore putting the hospitals to good use. Which just means more bills
Im just wondering how long it would take to add all of this to the game...

I think of all the ideas that have been posted and will be posted, surely at least one or two would be worth implementing in the game?!
seriously, I think we could somehow piece together and weigh up which ones plus any others suggested from now on, could be considered to be introduced to the game to add a new dimension or too, and to keep everyone, especially the bigger companies on their toes.

Sounds like you have been involved with a lot of suggestion forums before...surely at least one or two would be worth implementing in the game?!

What would happen if, say a nuclear power plant suffered a melt down in Mali? Would hospitals make more money or less? Would quality products get better or worse? Would customers in Oman stop buying?
What about the ability to turn waste products into art as status symbols?
Hehe. Never mind, that's silly and would make people want more trash...unless it was extremely expensive and needed an expensive building, so older players would buy the waste of newer products? Probably not.
But status symbols could surely be made for recycling? Such as the recycling buildings being status buildings, or maybe when you hit recycling milestones, like 100,000 units, you automatically get a special symbol etc.
I like the idea (in particular) or recycling plants that can create other products, but to keep things simple, waste should just be Waste, not Plastic Waste and Leather Jacket Waste and Chicken Waste- talk about a nightmare!
That would unless one building could turn any sort of waste into the original product at massive ratios (like 100 to one), but again, can you imagine a great chicken company collecting even 1000 eggs (which would be shells) and making a new product...
A brand new Egg!
Even better- green fashion! Turn (certain, I suppose) waste products into fashion products! You might laugh, but I bet Heidi Klum could pull it off.
Just to save all the little puppies.
