im not quite sure i understand; with 60 buildings i still only play one or two hours a day? am i supposed to, like, be begging for $50000 US and a plot to put the power plant on?

They're not bad, but the reputation (and price) has significantly outstripped the quality. Like many things in life, they are popular simply because they're popular.GoldenEye wrote:Yep, a Rolex is an expensive watch (and sometimes a really aweful one and boasting people like these watches).
Unfortunately, Patek Philippe is starting to get that stigma as well. Personally I love a nice Omega, but also have a special appreciate for A. Lange & Sohne, Girard-Perregaux, and of course IWC.
And just to show that popularity isn't all it's cracked up to be, Rolex gets about a thousand angry calls a month saying "This [manual] watch is so expensive, but it loses a minute a month! My friend's [quartz] Seiko is more accurate!" I guess some people just shouldn't have nice things if they don't actually know what they're buying.
