if i'm not mistaken, i thought that at a market price of something like 0.1 caps for power, a power plant in red is more profitable, but under 0.10 caps, a green power plant is more profitable.
As the market price will never be under 0.1 caps for power, red is the most profitable.

If you are starting a new power company you want to minimize costs...

on R1 I had one of the biggest power producing companies around...(reset the account after wanting a new business) your biggest challenge after all your slots are full is production speed... so red wins then...

so as one of the previous guys mentioned... green if you small and after billionaire status you buy and build only in red...this is if you selling power..

also another point to note... if you just want to supplement power for your mines and factories then using green power plants will do the trick for you..this will greatly reduce your production costs on expensive products like gold and silver...

there your actual cost of power will determine whether you end up with jewelry/gold/silver that you can actually sell at a profit or not...

only in a new realm in the first 2-3 months of playing green is an option, after that only red.

I jus started kapilands now with a new account . I used to play here but i lost my other account. I have three gas stations on sales. Now i am going to build a powerplant to produce power to sell it in the market for other people. Right now my direction is to make money. Also a power plant is needed for future so i'm going to start with it. Then i'm going to buy a plantation or a well . I don't know I will think on which product i'm going to focus. Gas or WOOD

on a new account wood wil make you grow fastest...

Guys like me will buy all you can make... I pay 73 Caps to TIB members and personal partners...

but as you grow bigger switching to gas production will make you tons of money...
