There have been talks about a new realm ever since the new kapilands started on .deLeopatra wrote:Hi

Correct me if i'm wrong, but thats now running for 2 or 3 years already and still no R3 on .com
I seriously doubt that will ever happen cuz it has been to long since the first time it has been promised.
I think upjers is rather spending its resources on new games instead.
As has been mentioned several times before, we cannot start a new realm, when the other ones are not filled. Servers cost money, quite a bit of it, actually, server- and game maintenances does too, as does the support. And of course we'd also have to work on the translations as well, so that would be additional work.
If the current realms aren't full, it doesn't make any sense for us to add another server to the game. A new server will only be added when we are certain of its usefulness, until then, you have a fully functional game version here, which you can keep enjoying.
The new servers in Germany have only been added because the old ones were filled up - there was no other reason here either. So it's not like we make any differences here. New servers simply have to be feasible - if they are not, we simply cannot afford setting them up and running them.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hmm, I don't think I quite agree. As far as I know, lots of German players like the version you have here just as much as the newer version.
And the general gameplay is still the same, too, even though the layout has been changed, and the text has been reduced as well. Veteran players actually tend to prefer the purer style to the new one.
And since the login-page hasn't been changed, and it's generally the login-page that gets players to register, I cannot really agree to your comment, I must admit. And it's not that we don't get any new players on the English, Dutch and Bulgarian servers, who all still have this version.

Hi again,
Wardrobes may be lucrative, since they can be produced using wood and steel purchased by the NPC, but the quality of course is generally low, since the basic material used to create them might be easily attainable via the NPC, but their quality is q0.
On the other hand, there are of course always ways to get money easily - there simply have to be products that are easy to create, and those that are going to be a little more difficult. Wardrobes might have gotten lucky during the balancing, as you also have the steel-tech-tree (to be circumvented via the NPC). The problem of the increasing amount of money, however, is a general Kapilands-problem, and doesn't depend on the wardrobes-stats. In order to circumvent this, it is up to you as players to set yourselves goals, such as participating at the contest, collecting status symbols, questing, etc.
Hope I am making sense here.
Now to get back to the discussion about a new server, as this is a point that hasn't been mentioned yet. If we keep opening new servers, without the other ones being filled, there is no guarantee these will be filled either. However, if the servers are hardly filled, then there are not enough active players, to sell your goods to or to find trading partners for basic material. So there is another reason despite the financial aspect, why opening a third server doesn't make any sense at the moment.
Hope this is understandable!

Why not to start a new realm on the old server? If the owners of this game want to be sure of the minimum number of players in the new realm i can make a list of players who will play in the new server. For players that are for some months in the old realms its hard to compete with old players that play for 3 years in points or contest. Most of them want to have real chances to win a gold or to be first at points.
