Suggestion and proposals..

well... you played for 2 and a half years (as you said) and now you got bored because there are no changes.
there are many players that play and didn't get bored yet

so kapi is still on for the ones that aren't bored of it and don't want to change it (like me).
for people that got bored from kapi, upjers made many different games that you can try, and might love.

There's no reason to fix something that isn't borken.

If upjers wants more players before starting a new realm then maybe they should look at the big players that have left because of a lack of a new realm. Domination inc(Or dominance? God knows) is one major example- there are a few others as well. These are prominent coin buyers- therefore making upjers an income, making them money.

They're getting so bored by the game and it's poor programming(Domin... Inc losing all his buildings) that they are starting to leave. So while they sit back and hope to see the graph of total number of players going up what they are failing to realize is that all these new players are playing for a bit, realizing that they can never catch up and quit. Sure every now and then one will buy some coins to try and catch up, but what's the point really?

If they started a new realm lots of old players would return, they would get a huge influx of coins being bought and they could drag that realm out for a year before the process started repeating again, by then though I'm sure they would of paid off all server costs and staff costs. It would re-inspire players on other realms. Overall it could only really earn them money right now!

Of course not... but what kind of business does not take gambles? They took a gamble launching Kapilands in the first place, it paid off. What's the worst that could happen? If it goes down the swanny they could just get a smaller server for it, transfer allthe information onto this worse cheaper server then have a nice big server for one of their new games they plan to launch in the next year?

buying a new server isn't something like 'save it for next year'
for a server you need an interenet connection with high upload (for which you pay monthly) and some more things that cost money and you cant 'save for next year'
upjers isn't a big company that can invest in a new server just to see if it works.

but you can always connect them and donate so that they open a new server

Sure they can invest to see if it works, or why dont they just try it in one of their own servers?

I had bought 1000 coins before...They got a 100Pounds from me ....And so many, i mean like 100's of people buy coins everyday! They are filthy rich by now.

Also, creating a new server means, HUGE profit! Everyone will try to be on the top. They will buy coins to expand do what they can. But, it may also result in a breakdown of a server.

Eg: Realm 3 opens, players from realm 1 and 2 go there. in realm 1 there arent that many left.. Then at last realm 1 will lose all their players.

So they must think strategicaly.

If they 'test' realm 3, and see that there ain't as many people as they wish, and close it, evryone that did play in realm 3 will be furious that it was closed

especialy if they invested in coins.

no, only small (very small) amount of the players buy coins.
true that there are some people that buy big amounts of coins, but still, it wont make them rich.

But they buy most coins at the startup and as they get rich. They will have more richer players if a load of people start from scratch on a new server. What's happening at the moment I assume is a downward slump. Up to them, but people just want it.

Hi everyone,

to place a comment here myself: If any when a new realm will come has to be determined by our developers. The current English realms are not filled yet, so there is technically no need to start a new server.

And, as you surely know, the general reason to start a new server is, if the existing ones are filled. Servers need to be rented and paid for, and starting new servers without an actual need is unfortunately not feasible - not for this company, nor for any other company.

So while I do understand that you are waiting for a new realm to open, please also understand that we have to make sure that need and costs are balanced.

The new German realms were started only because the existing servers were filled, and we urgently needed new servers. So will the updated version come here as well? Yes, of course it will come, but not unless it is necessary from our point of view.

Additionally, we will need to work on the language files before a new server can be started. There have been a large number of changes on the newest German realms, and our programmer is still working at completing them. So unless he is really done, translating the files would be futile - or at least twice the work. We cannot start translating until all changes have been implemented, to ensure the work doesn't need to be done twice.

So enjoy the servers that are online at the moment, and rest assured realm 3 will come in time!

I hope I've been able to make things little clearer from our perspective,

Nice to see you look around in the forum. One question, do you own kapilands, or a part of it?

You mentioned above that after he finishes translating, do you only have one guy to do this job?

I was kind of against opening a new realm, it is a waste of money unless a realm is filled.

this is not nice at all!!! i cant quite digest the fact that servers have to be filled...fine if thats the case why cant changes be implemented to the present servers...the kapi market is not working,bank not working,shares not working,no new products except ice creams ..as time passes both realms are gonna loose players nly....if ur expecting something like a mass recruitment drive to kapilands dats never going to happen unless more advertising is taken up.....if u dont advertise then we all can wait untill the old servers die with very less activity......

and also the fact that programmers are translating the german to english,ryt??then what guarantee do we have that once the translation job is done a new realm is gonna pop up....arewnt the servers still gonna remain unfilled??

One more thing if ice creams can be added to the server in the middle,why cant other products be added

Also,My point of view-the income from the sale of coins bought to english servers should be used for the development for the english servers and not the German servers.........It is quite obvious that upjers is not intrted in english kapilands,it can be seen from the newspaper...the german newspapers are soo much filled and dey have so many small contest which give quite good prizes to the winners.....but in the english version,Our very own buddies are handling the paper and what else can they do?use their real money to sent prizes to the winners.....

This is my first post for the fight for realm 3 and i hope this is not gone unseen.....

Hello again,

I was hoping I was going to bring the facts across a little better, but apparently not. So I will try again.

As has been explained before, we are working on an updated (updated -not new) version, which has already been released on two German servers (as GoldenEye has already explained, the main changes revolve around the interface; the game as such is still the same). This updated version is still being worked on, but had to be released prematurely because the current servers were overflowing.

We will be releasing this version in English as well, as soon as the updated files have been translated and as soon as it becomes necessary. The same has been done on the German servers. We certainly do not add any servers there, if these are not needed.

The newspaper in Germany is being provided by players just as much as the English newspaper is. It is and always has been a player-project, and has never been directly published by us. If you want to fill the newspaper with additional articles, I am sure the newspaper-team here would appreciate donations; the German paper does not work any differently.

I just see one flaw in this argument.

How can you fill a sever if it is losing players?

You believe that waiting for them to fill will work but from our views more people are leaving than joining. Though if the next realm would be the slighty buggy german one , I would prefer to wait. Though lot of players are leaving, shouldn't we at least try and stem the tide. Though most of the say the lack of updates and new realms is the reason.

How about Kapilands starts advertising more again?

The reason the paper and the realms and forums as a whole are strugglign are lack of players as players are leaving and nothing is really bringing them in, surely a few advertising campaigns on other larger games and forums etc isn't unfeasible?

So pretty please with a cherry on top can we have them?!

I found this game through pure luck... not advertising and the only place I've seen it advertised is other upjer games...
