This is not a bid and not trying to start a conversation but what happens if someone wins the auction at 400million but someone else buys it off the market at 600million but he hasn't won the auction. You will be violating the rules as you can't give it to the official auction winner.

You can bid 599,999,999.99 and anyone can buy it now for 600,000,000.00 before the end of the auction. As soon as the auction ends, the building comes off the market and goes to the winner (if noone BIN)

If someone wins for 550, and someone buys 10 mins before, the 550 guy officialy won it but cant be rewarded his win. Thats not good.

...if someone buys it 10 minutes before the auction ends, they have gone through the 'buy it now' price.
so the 550 one would not be the winner, the 'buy it now' person would be.

And a bid outside of the thread is legal, as long as "OhMyGod" at least mentions that bid here.
Sure, the bid would be posted a bit late through that method, but you can't outbid 'Buy It Now' anyway, so that doesn't really matter.

The only real problem that I could see here, is the auction ending without "OhMyGod" being online, and someone buying it off the market 10 minutes AFTER the auction ends.
Then, a potential winner wouldn't be able to get the RC anymore.
As long as "OhMyGod" can take it off the market at the exact time the auction ends, I don't think there's a problem here...
