I will try and write one then, though only have spare time at the weekends. Though I kinda liked the review of other Upjers games and I think upjers would like it too.

We are planing on adding more info on other Upjers games in later editions of the KapiTimes.

Feel free to submit articles. Very few people do submit articles. (Just don't copy old articles and "rewrite" them. We have had that before and we won't publish them.)

Hahahahahahaha

We've thought about small contests/puzzles before, but prizes are a bit of an issue there.
We can't break the rules by giving cheap/free stones or steel or anything like that, we'd have to spend money/coins to give status symbols away.
And no one within the team is up for that so far.

KapiTimes is a user-generated paper for the largest part, so the users have to arrange these things.

As for old contests: I'd have no idea.
I joined this game in May of 2009, and the paper was "empty" in those days.
I never actually went through the "original" KapiTimes.

the link doesn't work that well, it seems to be merged with Issue 88.

Along with that, you linked me to an edition that has no contest (according to the only page that's readable from issue 6)

edit: after checking the archive I realise that the old editions all link towards the latest issue, when you click one of the links inside.

oh and I got word that there's actually a change of doing something like free steel as a prize.

Yes the old kapi times used to have 5,000 free steel as a prize to the winner of any contest. It used to be mail the newspaper company with the subject as contest and then the answer on it's own in the subject text and a week later all correct answerers would be put in a hat and 3 would be drawn out to win

I looked around the German forum and I think they have a Sunday quiz
