i think its a great idea ,
we keep the current contract system , but we add something new ..
where two companies make a deal , for example
one supplies (quantity of product) 1000 oil for example with a certain agreed quality , for a certain price .. the contract is due daily / weekly / monthly as agreed upon , if weekly for example , the two companies agree on a certain day on that day 1000 oil will be sold from the supplier , to the buyer for the price agreed upon , automatically and will keep renewing itself and doing the same every week till its canceled and there should be a penalty for not being able to meet the terms of the contract (like the buyer doesn't have enough money , or the supplier doesn't have enough stock ) of a certain agreed upon sum (100k for example ) and if the company can't afford to pay that sum , they should get like 10 days chance to get the money , or the other company takes a building(s) instead of the money .
There could be contracts where companies exchange goods , like plastic for oil or anything ....
i think its a great idea ! what does evreyone else think ?
