I am sorry that you think like this about e. g. me. ;)

I try to act in the sense of the board and thus I do not want to limit every tiny bit of things written in here. Some liberty is good for all of us.

But back to topic: You can't delete your posting. If you really feel that you yet want to delete it then contact one of the moderators including a link to the posting/thread you refer to. :)
And about the "special case" in the trade sections: Simply add the word "closed" to your thread-title, you don't even need to remove the complete title line. :)

Yes, and by the way Opus, what you said about our admins and mods is so much not true!
First of all, they DON'T HAVE any personal interest oneway or the other.
What they do is always for the players and the games interest, which is in my opininion the same.
They do this in their own free time, voluntarely and without pay or any other advantages.
But I guess they are like middle class management: they get kicked from "below" and are restricted in their actions by rules from "above".
Not a very nice position to be in.
I think we have very good admins here, especially compared to other games. :D

Sally that isn't true. I have yet to ever have any of the admins or mods answer ANY of my questions, posts, or requests since I've been here all year.

The matter is stating a FACT, that I have experienced. I have been ignored over and over. It's as if you have to be a special buddy to get anything done/answered.

Hell, I've only been posting messages on a regular basis for only a few weeks only because I am bored and thought I'd meet some of the people I've been dealing with on the market and contracts.

So ya, (no offense intended) my opinion is not going to be swayed or feel "sorry" because of your speech. I've been using forums for over 13 years on the net and 4 years on BBS SIGs in the 80's, you are preaching to deaf ears.

The only way my tune will change, is when I can at least get one freaking post/email/private message answered. Until then, I will continue to grouse and egregiously smarmy about it.

So nyah. :p

Good talking to ya Sally, odd article with pk121, it'll be awhile before I need more chemicals. ;)

Cheers!

PS: Kapilands is still quite an intriguing and fun game, despite what you've experienced to the contrary in our conversations here on the forum. Just saying.

You just had an Admin respond to one of your messages. Look three posts up at GoldenEye's responce.

Outside of the bug section, Admins and Mods don't post much at all. They don't single you out, they just don't post much in general. (When Tycoon was the main Admin and Knolls was a Mod both posted a lot and answered questions. Every person has a different style of working. GoldenEye seems to perfer to sit back and let others answer, unless we answer wrong.)

If you PM GoldenEye or pearlbay both seem to get back to you fairly fast. (Within 24 hours usually.) For this type of game, I say that is pretty good.

Azer, I saw Golden Eye's comment, but I was addressing Sally, who appeared to think I was sullying the image of the admins, which was just silly. See what I mean?

Ironically, I ended up finding answers to my questions I sent in PM to the admins back in March, then April, and then May. In fact, I found the answers I was looking for 3 weeks ago.

Since February of this year, I've pretty much just been watching the banter, and trying to cull some wisdom from the help topics. Then I got stupid, and started socializing with people, revealing just how much of a meanie I really am. :) It's the Sicilian half of me that makes me like that. :P

Well enough rambling, the bed is screaming for me to snuggle under the wool blankets, and rest my head on my cheap, fiber filled pillows.

Anyone wanna buy a naggin--- I mean talking bed for 3 billion caps? Anyone?

And whom did you contact?
Propably not an active team-member... then it can lead to such cases where you do not get a response. :) I know that it can be annoying not to get an answer but you cannot blame "the admins and the mods" for this. :)

Oh, and Azer, about that "style of work": My intention is to let the players help themselves. We have got a lot of experienced players in here, why should I limit their chances to help others? :)
And it also has to do with my kind of limited time that I am able to invest.
But if someone feels that I am not "visible" enough I can think about changing this... maybe.

Opus, I sent PM's to GoldenEye alot when I first used the forum (I'm sure he got annoyed after the 300th one  ) and he responded to every one of them in the next 24 hours!

Goldy, I sent a message to pearlbay, duffhead, and nasenprinz. I still have my messages to nasenprinz, but they are the more recently sent messages.

I've been reporting suspicious looking new companies that seem to be selling items for huge amounts of money. Then those items sell within a week to a month, as I was monitoring them. Call me crazy, but I'd like to play a game fairly, and so should the other players. My intent was to help the mods and admins out with the game.

More or less, my sharp barbs earlier, was my way of getting one of you mod's attention. Bravo, it worked! Squeaky wheel gets the grease, as the saying goes.

So squeak, squeak, squeak. :)

Cheers!

Oh and Mike, good for you my good man, good for you. :) Pip pip hurrah and all that rot.

Stick with GoldenEye, he is the most active it seems. He is also really good with checking out cheaters. ;)

However, if you have major bugs you can use pearlbay. She is an Upjers employee so can get to the programmers faster.

Duffhead doesn't seem to visit the forum all that often and I have no experience working with him.

I join the game a month after Realm 1 came out. I have yet to see nasenprinz on the forum. (He is the game owner.) He may visit the German forum boards but I have no real idea. (I don't speak or read much German.)

He did post a lot during the first month though. I remember him replying to help threads during the first month of the game's release in English.

1. He has only 29 posts.
2. He only posted 9 times in forums normal members can see.
3. They where all in the bug, coin problem or announcements forum.

Tycoon spent plenty of time answering questions when she was the Admin.
