welling siting on your ass got Barack Obama a Nobel peace prize for all he did is say i believe and the average American and Scandinavian person thinks he is the messiah.

Well not really- he worked hard re-establishing the American link to the muslim world. Then called for nuclear disarmament. Which is a bold move considering that he is willing to cut down America's stockpile of nuclear weapons.

He gives very powerful emotional speeches and considering the hole left in the relationships between the muslim world and America- left by G. W. Bush- he has done an amazing job repairing it.

So next time don't talk about what you don't know about.

But this thread isn't for politics. Instead it is about this idea. And of course unless someone gets off their ass people won't notice this suggestion at all.

It sounds nice, but i doubt it would even be considered for future games as referred to in the suggestions and proposals rules.

If someone needs quick cash he can buy coins and selling them is the goal of Upjers i guess.
And if you want to back friends, let them buy coins and sell them to you to help them get more money.

In short the answer to your proposal always has been ans will be: COINS

Just like you wrote, this is about the idea and not to post your personal idea's about some joker who ended up recieving a price which now can be considered a joke in the entire world

If you advice someone to not talk about something he doesn't know anything about, i suggest you don't do that yourself either.

Also Coins are sure a nice cash injection- but lots of people cant be bothered to buy them or even just CANT buy them. Also small companies who want a cash injection arent gonna go "lets get coins" they're gonna say: "This game sucks, I'm not spending money on it if I can't even play it cause my friends can't help me".

If you let friends help each other with the share idea though then more people arelikely to play and when they're bigger they'll be less likely to want to sell off their business shares, instead though they'll say "Oh I don't wann loose out on my big profits by selling my shares... I'll buy some coins!"

So you'll get a larger amount of players staying in kapilands, then you'll get more of them eventually buying coins!

Well, i don't really care about people who consider this game to difficult when they can't be pushed by their friends.
I don't think they have the stamina to continue playing for years anyway.

We all started without being pushed by friends and helping out can be done through buying goods from small companies in a contract and at a decent price.
I also helped out people by buying their steel they got at the start at npc value so they could build some more buildings with the extra cash.

I got helped out (when I needed a lot of cash for contest), by selling coins to people and then buy them back later.
by you as well Ronintje,
Sort of a "loan" you could say, with coins as colleteral.
I help out people this way too sometimes.
Or you can sell a large amount of whatever you got in your warehouse and buy it back later.

The point of this idea is not just to help people out, so lets try not to get to focused on a single aspect here please. It is much broader than that, and encompasses more things, the primary one being making the game more dynamic, and more like real life businesses. Nobody here can deny that kapilands is quite a stale game, with very limited objectives. Log in, build some stuff, log out, send a contract, etc. It's an endless cycle, and my suggestion is the way to break it.

The problem in this idea however was, people would get the money without selling stuff.

Also i wonder what help it would be to a company when you sell 20% of your shares and then lose 20% of your revenue...
You wouldn't make a profit anymore, so what good would that situation do your company???

Felix is talking about helping out friends to grow fast, but the initial idea wasn't talking about pushing like he does.

In short, transferring cash from one account to another is cheating.
Buying shares and then getting the profit made like suggested would actually just result in people being able to get larger companies cuz in fact when you buy 50% of ones shares you just get an extra 50 buildings to produce for you....
This also is actually cheating..

The idea sounds nice but isn't right.
If you want to help out friends you can easily do it without cheating.
If you can't build a company without friends supporting you with cash, THIS ISN'T A GAME FOR YOU!!!

The idea of this game is to work your way up with certain amount of cash, buildings and production, live with it...

Thas my opinion about this idea and i wanna bet upjers opinion won't be to different

Well, to help you out.

Check the suggestions and proposals section rules thread.
There the crew wrote there would be no changes that change gameplay a lot.

Hence, this change definatly won't be implemented in this version of kapilands..

Maybe it is not just about helping people, I understand that, but people who need fast cash are more likely to sell shares of their company as you described, while there are other ways to get that cash is what I wanted to say.
For gameplay it might make it more dynamic but also it will be very complicated to make it 100% cheatproof the way you present it now.
I foresee a lot of arguments between players if this would be implemented in this way.
