Trade Institutions and Syndicates.

Trade Institutions and Syndicates.
Has anyone realized that none of these are working??????? No member in kapilands is ready to put an effort into them. But the question is, why?????????? I mean, they are made for the good of members. By members, I mean people who get a positive interest from a trade institution and syndicates. I mean, there are thousands of players which produce power, but not one of them has joined the groups made. The main thing in my topic is: WHY.
TIB has a lot to offer IMHO. The big kapi/little kapi program is a great way for new players to get a ton of financial help and advice. You can grow quite quickly "the right way" with a little help. My businesses success has a lot to do with that program and Anup's advice. Smaller players typically can score discounts on raw materials and goods. They typically can sell their products at a slightly higher then average price. I personally have given back by helping out some other little kapis sell off raw materials at higher than normal prices. The impact to my business at this point is very minimal, but its huge at that stage in their company development. Its also a place to discuss stuff "off the beaten path". I feel a lot more open to discuss things there without fear of losing competitive advantage. I also feel that being an active TIB member will allow you to get "first dibs" on contracted goods from other TIB members. I use a lot of oil and buy a decent amount from other TIB members. We do discuss long term survivability of highly supplied markets like gas, wardrobes, leather jackets, etc etc... store pricing and such. There is also a good deal of information threads that help out with decision making. Oh yeah... want to see how someone runs their business? We all keep updated company presentations with a full run out of our slots.
Ehm..yes, it is supposed to be updated every once in a while..We all keep updated company presentations with a full run out of our slots.

Guess I should update.
And to atanesa: I think the reason syndicates don't seem to work is because players don't know how to "use" the syndicates, they can't seem to find a way to make it work for their benefit and they tend to wait for someone else to come up with an idea rather then to come up with something constructive themselves.
Also, having a good idea and putting it into practice are 2 different things.
It is difficult to get people to work together.
You need players that are seriously willing to participate.
Maybe looking for members actively ingame would help,or putting up a fax.
But I agree it is difficult.

Well, my question is, why? Why other members do not join while the group is for their own good? I mean, I made a group for electronics, but I only got 2 members. And I can tell you, I know 13 companies which the group is usefull to them. TIB is the ruling group in kapilands, but why dont other groups have some shine into the spotlight? Why is TIB dominating over kapilands? They control gas, wardrobes, cars, oil, pullovers, wool........etc. Why isnt anyone wanting to form their own group and try to have some domination. The thing is, I will keep trying and trying to form a small domination and form it into a large one. Dont get me wrong, I like TIB, but I do not like its kapidomination. Unfortunetly, there is nothing other companies can do, since no one is willing to join the groups. I repeat for the third time, why? And I dont think that the answer is they dont take it seriously, they do, but there is another reason hiding behind the covers that I want to find out.
Speaking for my self,
I am a proud TiB member, and never in my mind there was something like kapidomination in to be a TiB member. When I joined to the group I was searching for loyal and commited suppliers and custommers, cause I was tired to search on market and on the foruns for business partners, that were willing to play for 1, 2 weeks and then just vanished. Besides that I had some advices from other TiB members that helped me to manage and grow my company (probably I didn't take all as good), and also I have found good business partners that are willing to buy my goods for a fair price (and not be ripped off like some big companies do around here) for my goods as also they sell their goods at a fair price (like toys and other stuff). So if you think that TiB rules it's because our fair play on the game, and because we are willing to ask for as to give for.

Also, siberian, TIB is a fair trade dominating group, but TIB is not my problem. My problem is, why dont people join other groups? When most of them are fair. TIB is last problem I want to face, but why dont people get it that there are other groups than TIB that have a fair trade????
Why? Here is my short answer.
Most small groups try to do too much too fast. They are like a drag race car in a 200 lap race. They usually run out of fuel fast and get nowhere.
Let us say a new group was founded for electronics. What does it need to survive?
1. It needs good, active and experience members. (Which are hard to find on a forum where not that many people are active compared to the game itself. Along with the fact that TIB has been around for a long time and most of the active forum members have joined because of that fact.)
2. It needs a good strong leader. Not just a leader that says, "Make this" or "Sell at this price" but a leader that can work with companies to make sure the whole Union or Trade Group is working together.
3. It needs its own forum. Groups that run out of a thread shows that the leader, or group, isn't thinking long term.
4. It needs to offer something unique. (TIB offers: fair trade, good business partners, a power house of the best players in the game willing to share experience and advice, and extra programs/contests to help out the smallest members grow.)

I am a fairly new member to TIB and also a new player to the game...
Azer is correct in saying Why I joined TIB....
Reasons...
Players with lots of experience was willing to guide me and give advice
TIB was established already and had a good forum/very good forum...
the players was active and the forum...
Big Kapi ,Little Kapi graduation program is fantastic!!
So to get more into WHY i would think the smaller group's might be lacking exactly these things... and also that you will have to make it a long term project...
Dont give up on your goal... competition is good... but the electronic section inside TIB forum might be the reason why the companies are not joining the smaller groups... they are well set out and know where they are going...
