Business ideas for my company in Realm 1 :)
I was hoping I can get some ideas from people of what business should I start. I have 9 billion to spend after I sell all my new built buildings. I was thinking golden necklaces business. Also, I was going to start TV business, but it turns out profits are low. So, any ideas?
Im in both TVs and Watches in R2 and the profits there are great (ie 600c profit per minute per K of sales space)
The problem is this, power prices in R2 are 0.10ea so around 110c to make one unit of gold total. In R1 its 0.27 so around 250-265 per unit. so 4.2k of profit per unit (necklaces). As to 8.7k max profit here. The realistic max is round 6-7k though. All these figgures are from the max sales price BTW
Thats producing the gold yourself, add on the producer costs and your end line profits drop quite a bit. But if you do produce gold the mine space required is large and tedious to expand effectivly.
TVs are another story. With costs to buy at around 2200+50 in R1 its still an ok margin and as good as your likely to get. Oubiviosuly its better to produce yourself by a long shot (I can produce mid Q Tvs for a little under 1k and high Q 1.6k) but the support builds will cut into your profit margins with profit sharing. If you have a good solid supplier you can make great profits long term.
Im sure I dont have to explain Gas/Wardrobes to you. If you have acrued 9b you will have some experince in that area along the way
I would not go into jewerly in R1 its just not worth your time but it may be viable if you can afford to pick up a huge research and dominate the market dunno. Gas/Wardrobes are so common I get board with them but its up to you if you want to swing that way. TVs are good on both servers and its a long enough chain to keep it intersting. Mix + Match may be the best way to go

Well, I calculated my profits for golden necklaces, and it turns out, profits are high. Maybe I can find a gold supplier, and buy gold high quality. Also, buy a golden necklaces research. That way, I would have a high quality production of golden necklaces. They sell for 10,000 or more through contract. The production costs 6800-7500.
Here are some nice auctions on Jewelry research.atanesa wrote:Well, I calculated my profits for golden necklaces, and it turns out, profits are high. Obviously profits are very nice

Well, they obviouslly ended lol. But it turns out, golden necklaces aint a so profitable. I estimated how much gold is needed for my supply, and I need 5.5 million gold daily if I started production. Now, I calculated how much that would cost in buying it from a supplier, and buying 5.5 million gold q0 for 260 each, would be about 1.5 billion with power. Now, if you sell it through contracts for 10,000 each, profit would be:
10,000x188,000(my supply)= 1.88 billion.
Thats 380 million profit from such a large expense.
Now, I dont know about what you guys would say, but I think that the expense is too high for such a small profit. I can afford to buy elements, yet the operation is too much expensive for a profit like 380 million.

I don't care to much about the % profit or as some say ROI.
When a low ROI allows you to make a huge profit/slot i would prefer that rather then huge ROI which results in a small profit.
Just check Power plants, they give an easy 2000% ROI in green and still up to 900% in Red.
Still in R1 the Red one generates a lot more profit.
Also compare power to stones.
I once calculated a max PP vs Mine with NPC sales value, somehow the mine would produce 12M profit/day/slot while a PP would be stuck at "only" 10.5M p/d/s.
However a large store could give 40M p/d/s.
The large store however wouldn't likely give a 100% profit on the items you sell, yet the total profit is a lot better.
Remember, the building slots are limited, the products aren't.
ergo, i think you should just calculate the daily profit you make on a building slot rather then the profit you make on a product.
Ofcourse, to enter such business you would need more cash and you would need to consider where you should spend the cash.
It's either on expansion or buying resourses.
One can make the calculation as difficult as one would like.

If that is your business plan, why are you active in here??ILIYYILI wrote:come back in a few years and sell em
great profit, no effort xD
You obviously have no company but only own a bunch of coins and don't have anything usefull to do on your account but have a look at the huge amount of coins you own ??
Still, in 2 years you get back....and then what ???
You still can't sell your coins cuz they will become more expensive....
So why sell them??
Or do you plan on selling them and then buying some again for the next 2 years??
Or 5 years??
Or 10 years??
Still, i bet one can make a lot more profit just playing the game, so either way your "advise" is terrible..
