profitable products

I didn't claim you couldn't talk about TV's...however, you did claim the thread was about TV's only which obviouslty wasn't so.atanesa wrote:Ronintje, my thread is about top leading products, and TELEVISIONS IS ONE OF THEM. No hard feelings, but i was talking around the subject and a bit related. As for you VerConMat, when your ready to sell gas, check my prices in product purchase for gas.
You obviously agree with me since in this message you clearely twist and turn to try to make it look like you didn't claim the thing you did in your previous message...
And obviously, TV's is 1 of the top items in the game....at least to sell...
Production sux due to production cost being so high you can't pay reasonable value for the raw materials you need.
I still don't get it why people produce Quarts which is worth around 3 ea on the market when there isn't a mine contest active when it is just as expensive to produce as Minerals which is usually worth over 10ea.
But production is similar to Wardrobes, with no Research it isn't any good, but with Q50 research you get a decent bonus making the production worth the effort despite the difficulties gathering the raw materials.
Like most of the top profit productions its just important to focus on the production of one item and get a large prodution to be able to benefit as much as possible from that one research.
Oh
. Well, your certainly right about quality but. Your wrong about focusing on one product. You have to think big, to make big. Maybe you can produce two products, and sell them and at the same time, you buy goods and sell them in stores. Now thats thinking big. My company is like that, i produce televisions and buy goods from other companies, and then i sell my televisions+other company televisions+other company goods. And your not gonna believe this, but when i start, i will be making 350 million a day and thats a lot.

Well, might do, but what happens when a full product range selling price goes down the drain? For example if someone concentrates on wardrobes and the retail prices go really down? Dont think it could happen here, but... Know realms where this regularly happens not only concerning one product but a full product range as in furniture for example...Azer Productions wrote:No, focusing on one product is the best way to go. Why have 3 different industries and retail store types? That is a waste of space and will not maximize your cash.
Like I wrote elsewhere: My company might have been huger if... But my relatively widespread product range saves me from crashing in case a certain part should go down... Security normally includes less profit...
Plus I like the variety

I don't have the slots to produce much let alone more then 1 product in an entire production line.atanesa wrote:Oh. Well, your certainly right about quality but. Therefor i just buy whatever i need to sell in my stores.
I think i have 10 free slots for production, therefor i prefer to use them to focus on 1 item right now.
You cant make huge because of building slots. But think of other companies, i mean at first i was concentrating on gas production. But when i changed my business, my profit increased a lot. Now i make about 360 million a day, while when i was in gas business, i made 120 million a day. I can still expand more into my business and make a lot daily, but it would take some time and building space. As for the main issue of the topic(top leading products) here is my list and the contest is not included in this list:
1) Wardrobes.
2) Diamond Rings(only now).
3) Televisions.
4) Gas.
5) Leather Jackets.
Please comment and tell me if im wrong.

One thing i miss in this thread is numbers. Reading through all the thread it seemed like i listen to some local politicians quarreling over whether they should build some road here or should they rather build it there.
"Here is better!!"
"No, you communist leftover, here is better!"
"No, you quisling descendant, here is better!"
etc.
Anyway, just for your information, i calculated profits of a maxed joinery with maxed research under current conditions in r1. I have a buyer which buys wardrobes for 2750+60q. Maxed research gives you quality of 31, so its 4610 per wardrobe. It costs 2385 to produce, so you make 2225 caps per wardrobe. You can produce 1120/h at a tycoon level (1096/h at magnate), which results in 59.8mil (58.5mil) daily, which is a very nice profit, possibly exceeding those of furniture stores and jewellers. Needless to say, as demand for wardrobes is rising, the prices are too, so the joinery profits are shooting to the sky.
Jewels factory can be even better, although i am not in jewels industry. But given the buying price for gold (260+2q was the first offer i saw, and i took you buy q0 gold) and buying price for golden necklaces (8000+100q), it costs 7975 caps to produce a q42 necklace, which you sell for 12200, making you 4225 profit per necklace. 845.73/h makes you 85.8mil profit.
Although i bet it is very hard to find [censored] who will sell you big enough quantities of gold for 260 caps per unit to sustain your production.
p.s. well if i look on the market there actually are [censored] selling their gold for 265 per unit, with market fee reduction thats only 240

As you can see, televisions is the same thing as wardrobes. They cost atleast if you buy the elements, they cost 1300 to make and im talking about q12 televisions. They sell in france for about 3700, and thats 2400 profit and this is close to wadrobes. I was going to start a jewellery business, but maybe there will be a hit on jewellery, so thats why i chose televisions. Also, for your retailing thing, im already planning that. Im retailing gas, televisions, and coming soon wadrobes and jewellery.
GREED inc. wrote:Basically you are telling me how much profit per unit of product you can make? Then cabriolets is the winner. Because you can sell it for more than 150k pure profit.atanesa wrote:They sell in france for about 3700, and thats 2400 profit and this is close to wadrobes.
Cabriolets sell for 150,000 in stores q38.
How come you make 150,000 pure profit if they sell for 150,000 q38??
