Sponsered Contests

Post by Guest » 27.09.2009, 16:08

Sponsoring contests by an external or internal company would be great.

For example:
(externally)
You could win the IKEA GOLD MEDAL.

Or the Ferrari Bronze Medal.

Featuring there own design.

For example:
(internally)

I could sponsor the whole contest for 100 coins.

Or just a Medal for 30(Gold) 25(Silver) 20(Bronze)30 (Contest certificate).

On the badge you could put a logo or keep it plain.

If you one (i.e) an Ikea Gold Medal And a Walrus Productions Ltd. Gold Medal they would be stored under the same warehouse space.

would result in people hosting it just to get excessive amounts of goods at cheap prices. leave it to the administrators to decide when and what to have a contest

no you sponsor the official one. which runs fortnightly.

so you dont host it.

Although not a great one for change, especially in a game such as this, I can see some milage in this idea.

Closed bids in coins for the honour of sponsoring the contest. (this will help sell more coins as coins are taken out of the game)

A new market would be created by people not just buying contest status symbols but by buying sets of status symbols. (obviously the status symbols would have to be changed to incorporate the name of the sponsor)

Maybe limit the number of contests a company can sponsor.

So you are making each medal individual? With sponsors paying coins to get them to be able to buy the rights to the name... hmmm interesting and a nice little money spinner for the kapi team maybe?
