possible idea
I think this whole concept of not automating some aspects of the game is both wrong and right.
I believe its right in business terms, this game obviously endevours to emulate a real world business enviroment, and so should be as dynamic as possible. In automating the game, this dynamic nature disappears and the game simply becomes a selection of preprogramed actions, that do not change because other dont.
I believe it wrong in business terms also. In the real world actions in business are automated. Such as contracts, production lines, and so on.
I think the developers of kapilands could look into possibally allowing certain specific aspects of the game to be automated.
However I do understand the issues concerning this automation and "cheating" which a completely do not condone.
Just thought it could be an interesting aspect of game development.
I appolgise if this is against the things that wont change. lol

Well as i said in a previous thread.
Possible automation of certain basic functions not linked to money would be good, such as linking certain production lines so that the required products are just moved along a production line. Possibly linking buildings so that in terms of gas production:
Power station generates power ----> power is delivered to oil well ----> oil well drills for oil ----> oil is then transported to factory -----> factory refines oil into gas.
I think it would be good to try and put in place "road blocks" to stop users simply logging in once a month. For example having a new check box that asks the user if they wish to forward to the next operation.
This could also help newbies get the hang of the game.

you would take away clicks if you automated things.
and what kind of 'game' would this be, if you weren't doing anything by yourself anymore?
I work in a large company, there's no automated contracts or production or anything like that, everything gets planned by human beings, not by an automated process

Every single function is linked to money, whether it's getting money or spending money, it's all linked to money.Possible automation of certain basic functions not linked to money
I think my choice of words (automatic) was wrong.
I simply mean in terms of contracts instead of having a one time contract it could be interesting to see the addition of long term contracts that you could perhaps click on and it would take the product from the warehouse and sell it at a predefined price, the seller would still need to click and the buyer would still need to accept.

To the post above, you can't close this!Puzzman wrote:To put it simply no game is going to promote automatic features to this extent, simply due to the fact their advertising revenue is dependant on the number of clicks the site gets.
To puzzman(quote) Yeah advertising revenue for kapilands... they(upjers) earn uhhh nothing from it cause they only advertise their own games and nothing else? So clicks mean nothing to them or they would extent how hard it is to set a production to get a few more clicks.
As for automation though. Alright idea would like to see it happening but n matter how useful it won't just because activity would drop, some people to just once a week or less. The more active a user is the more they want their account to be nicer the more they spend on prem/coins etc. And automatic system would push quite a few away and draw maybe a few in, but upjers are looking for people to buy coins, not getting more clicks, as coins make money!
ow phuck yeah lets revive the old threadWalker Landing wrote:Lol stating the obvious, I like that...VerConMat Industries BV wrote:considering the fact that the last post was over 2 months ago, it was dropped, until you started posting in it againCEOincorp wrote:just drop it...
