Hi,

I am one of those new player and i realy feel at lost in this game.Started to play kapilands few weeks after i discovered kapi-regnum.

Expanding building in the red cost so much and it seem like it increase ur assets fast as well. Thus lowering ur production when u already struggle to even build 1 building of each type to discover all aspect of the game.

Im currently a small businessman with 50 building and 90% of them are at the starting point (20 M

Hi KillingTime,
First up sorry that somebody dident get to your post for over a week. Its a poor reflection on the game.

Well, as you know I tried to kick the idea of cheap mats into the arena, so far zilch. The basic idea of the game is not to jump straight into the full production cycle but rather to enter at a Q0 level and once you have a specialty (research) then begin to retail the item. Its a process that can take months. Even if you know what your doing.

Best advice is to pick up oil/water or stones then once you have a decent cash flow then you can move to oil/gas or begin producing anything in the mine you want.

I have to jump off, but good luck
More later, i think

thanks for ur reply horizon.

I thought that my english was realy bad hence the no reply lol.

starting to play this game few years after the server started is a big thing to catch up.
No biggies tho since im only entertaining myself with this game, hence my name killingtime.
If i realy want to catch up that bad,i can always spend real money and be instantly billionnaire lol.

Maybe in a future version of the game there will be some more improvement.

Thanks again for ur time and happy gaming.

great game btw .. fun to play.

Hi.

I know that it can be difficult to start a production when you're behind on all the other players, I started to play in may of 2009 and most people were far ahead of me.

Like most of the new players I started off by making stones and selling them on the market, this helps to get a good early cash flow as the prizes of stones are decent and there's always a demand for them.
A lot of players do this until they have a good amount of money (Manager level or above I'd assume.)
For some reason I personally stuck with stones though, and they're still my main production today. :P

Expanding is always a problem for new players, building new buildings is a better option when you're starting out.

Hi KillingTime,

well on R2 it has become quiet, thats my impression, contest and special building products still sell well, but if I remember right, it has been a lot better when I was new - generally looked at it, there might be exceptions of the rule. I do not know regnum, though.

I do not know where you have what kind of buildings, but this is the only game I know, where levelling up is NO good, and people like me try their best NOT to do it (steel NPC is you best friend for that)... (8)

So this is like in many other games, when you are willing to spend real money, your company will grow like mad, if not its some hard work to get anywhere...

What helped me, was deciding on 1 product (line) and sticking with it. Changing your mind can be very expensive in time and money. :D

Some people here play to win in terms of fixed assets or largest amount of cash, and some others just want to make beer, and don't care that they don't get very rich. But both of them will have fun in the same game.

I've taken the middle road, and have 1 large production-line for wardrobes, which makes me the bulk of my money, and some extra buildings to do some fun stuff with.

There is always a high demand for Q0 wood, stones and power, so I'd look into one of those area's to get started, and along the way start researching the Q for a future product into which you can specialize.
