Like the current economy, the stock market has it's ups and downs...i think we should be able to buy and sell shares for companies

game developers don't want to add this option to the game.

Correct. It wont happen. Its to hard for the programmers to bother to even try to do it. It would encourage multies and as quoted change the game forever. It's like suggesting a new product. It can be done but the mods never select your products cause they have their own ideas of where the game is going

Actually, incorporating a stock market could lead to cheating and players playing the system. Also, I don't think you fully understand the stock market in itself.

could be another form of score but instead of like the current scoring, it would go up and down as people sold shares,

like if you bought stock in a company that produces seeds, then you buy stock in them, and then when they grow there company the stock price goes up based on a % of the Fixed assets of that seed company.

would also make people recruit new members to the game, all that would need to be done is implement that you cannot buy stock from another company if that company resides in your household (just like the existing rule of no trading within companies that are living in the same household)

and like i said, would make getting people to join a bit more attractive, because companies would make money from buying stock in small companies, then selling once they're bigger, but the stock price would fluctuate because numerous people would be buying/selling the stocks.

and maybe also implement "as a recruiting reward" when some one creates an account and includes the company ID during registration of who told them about the game, that person would get 10 shares in the newly created company.

Though there has been several people who have thought it was good ideas but the programmers have always rebuked saying it would
1. Change the game to much
2. be too much effort
3. You dont need one

That is why stock market should be added to the Refused Suggestion list. Also with debt offerings.
