BUG? Effectiveness

Post by Guest » 14.06.2008, 09:02

Now I noticed my SMALLER building of same type both
/is more effective per squaremeter and per employed
/and has a rather much lower production cost per product!!!

Is the game realy ment to make us build
/20 buildings 20 m2 each
/instead of 1 building 400 m2 ??? ;-)

Edit: (I didn't founr it earlier.)
When building then the information says there:
"Building (optimize production processes) 8.75 %"

That percentage value get BETTER with BIGER buildings, although it becomes BADER, so that's an odd "optimizing" ;-)

Please post this kind of question in the "beginner"-section in future, please. ;)

This is not a bug.
Production does not increase linear. So if you have got a building with e. g. 4 employees it does produce twice the amount of 2 employees.
If you match the maximum of building slots you will certainly need to expand. ;)

The producers implemented this in order to make it more difficult for larger companies. "Larger = less production" would be the conclusion. This does not affect research or sale-buildings.

And about "optimizing buildings": All 400 employees you can optimize your building for free. This brings you a small production-increasement. If you have got a building with 400 employees you will find a button "optimize" to click on - after this your building will produce faster.
