Advertisements in R2 - Real Future?
It is usual for a new realm to need suppliers for each product. However, is there a real future for some of these suppliers? I will specify this question upon advertisement and the advertisement industries, which I think will have future problems.
Firstly, I'll put up the idea of supply-demand, which is what the game revolves around, as I'm sure most of you know. If people want a product and there aren't many to buy, it becomes a rare item, increasing its price. If people do not want a product and there is much supply of it, the suppliers will start competing with prices to sell, dropping the price. (similar to current power industries in R1 with a low, unstable price)
With that explained I'll now add the fact that advertisements can be monopolized by few companies with the highest possible quality. The higher the quality, the more people want them. This increased desirability disallows companies with a lower quality to sell... a problem to small advertisement companies.
Currently, advertisement companies in R2 make a lot of money because of the supply-demand idea presented. In R1, though, the industry is quite monopolized. In my opinion, I think that there is nothing stopping advertisements to go into the same course in R2. Therefore, the race for the highest quality in advertisements in R2 has begun.
What will happen when this goal is accomplished? Suddenly, all the smaller companies have a hard time trying to find who to sell to. If people don't buy from them, they won't have have money to expand or research better qualities, leaving them at the bottom of the food chain. I think that advertisements in R2 have been filled with over-publicity in the past. Because of this, there is too much of a supply and this supply will only keep growing.
In fact, advertisement companies have already started slightly feeling this, with their advertisements not being sold off at the marketplace. I, myself, made and advertisement company in R2. "Advertisement Corporation" isn't doing as well as I expected. With no money to research and people rarely buying my underpriced advertisement, the company is somewhat stopped.
Please comment whether you agree or disagree with my idea. I want to listen to all points of view in this discussion.

Well, you already said how advertisment buisness works, its only one for those at the top, the others wont make much off it.
And you took the wrong approach, since you can't make money off ads early in the game, who can afford to pay 2 mio or more for a store when he doesnt even make 100k a day?
Most who are big in ads buisness are those who bought some coins and built themself a strong company, with production and retail, and also their own ads, since they had the money to invest in it.
So the big ones who would have money to buy from you, have their own ads, and even in a higher quality than you.
And once they finished putting ads in their own stores, the game will be a little more developed, and their quality high enugh, for it to be a profitable buisness for them. And thus they will keep working on the quality and staying at top, and due to the size of the company they can easily afford 2 or even 3 RC's to stay at top in quality.
Companys who have Ads as main buisness and didn't get any headstart with coins at the start, most likely wont have any chance.
Unless those at the top all stop playing and wont sell their ads research, its game over in that buisness.

i agree u can't make a company with only ad's and not have other large income to back up the reasearch which is needed for it
im pretty sure im highest Q ad's on R@, i have around half of my shops filled and when i fill them all which will be in 1-2 weeks i'll be hitting the ad's market with Q111 ad's mabye even Q12 by then
i alrdy make 76k ad points per day, i,ve downsized the amount of tv stations i have but expanded the ones im keeping at the same time,
so yeah just a small warning, i'll be hitting the ad's market in abit over a week, i got only 25 more shops to fill up

I never thought of gas producers making their own ads. Thought it was a waste of time and money, as I saw them playing the "smartest" way (that is, buying cheap ads and using them instead of investing to create them themselves. This does not necessarily mean the best gameplay).
I see that Milenko has done otherwise and his business is flourishing, congratz on that. However, I also notice that to start off with adds, people must have an already built up treasury because of the high expenditure used in its creation. My mistake was not having this start-up money. Thus, my business cannot grow.
Thank you for the insight into the advertisement industry. As I've never worked with it before, it was nice to receive some information on it.
