My Plantation does Potatoes instead of rubber!!!

Does anyone have this same problem?
I have tried to do rubber and it comes out potatoes so i cancel and set it up again and the same thing in all my plantations i used the rubber and it comes out potatoes ... is this a bug ? am i the onlyone who is getting this?

i got this. i attempted 3 times to set it for 24hrs and wasted a lot of good quality seeds. at first i thought i was being a bit thick and typing in the wrong box then i gave up and set it to make wood instead. if it is a glitch that doesnt get fixed quick, rubber prices will go through the roof.

It's not a bug, it's a new feature: culture rotation ! (very good to keep the soil healthy)

What happens if you try to make potatoes ?

I HAD to go and try it.

Stopped the production and started it again - and lo' and behold - potatoes! Little devil apples sprouting from the ground. Went to the plantation administration guys and they were able to talk some sense to the farm workers and put an end to this [censored].

Actually, someone gave the answer in the Bug forum section. There's a thread there, and some people were kind enough to post the equivalencies for a few cultures:

For the specific case of rubber, it's coffee beans you have to produce.

I guess that this bug might have been introduced by the new product "pet food" or what-was-its-name-again. Programmers probably inserted it into the wrong place and product indexes got shifted. Or more likely reason is that it's a work of a devil

- potatoes are devils little apples after all

I only noticed that the products were listed diffrently, and like i said in the other thread, the fields where you input your value weren't changed, so they are still for the product which was previously at that spot.

thats the easiest way. use the player as beta-testers.

dont check any change in program. let the users do this.

I'm going to lock this guys because there are already like 8 threads on it in the bug forums. We know and hope to get it fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, please be careful figuring which line is which, and start with small amounts if you aren't sure.
