HIYA! i started playing kapilands 3 days ago, a friend of mine suggested this game to me, and i figured i would add this one to my long resume of gaming experiences.

so far: Glad to have joined the game, and will continue to grow my company and sell wood! lol.

The mechanics of the game are pretty nice, except for the whole supply and demand thing, no clue why things add up the way they are, but I'll leave that for my post in another thread.

Glad to Be Amongst the Kapilanders! and i promise not to leave the NPC bodies just laying around random warehouses... Maybe...

What/where/who does the name "Kapilands" originate from?

Good questions. The game and company, Upjers, is German. I thought I heard somewhere that Kapi was/is an area of Germany but I don't know for sure.

Judging from the "@Kapitalism.de" emails that you get when you register an account on one of the realms of Kapilands, it's Capitalism + Lands

It's Upjers

Aside from that, it's "Kapitalism" in a few germanic languages, I'm not sure if the German language spells it with a K or not

The Germans would spell it "Kapitalismus", but "Kapitalism" (mix of English and German) was specifically chosen by upjers. And due to this also "Kapiland(s)" was created.
