Production Vs Retail
Ok I have noticed a trend that makes me question a whole lot. Most of the big top company's are full retailers. They don't do anything except buy and sell. So in order to get to the top I should or shouldn't produce products? I was thinking of going through the gas/oil or wood/wardrobe branch, but after looking it over the people on top have 100 retails and are selling huge amounts of stuff daily supplied by others.
So basically which would be most profitable:
100 gas stations
100 furniture stores
45 wells 45 factories 8 stores 2 rc
or the whole wardrobe production buildings assembly?

I am not going to pretend to know which make more $$$$
I would just like to point out that all of those "big top companies" got there by producing and selling.
At one point they had production facilities and sold under contract as well as in their own stores.
They slowly migrated to just stores when they achieved a certain level of Cash...
it take quite a bit of cash to buy 50000 Q25 Wardrobes at 4000 ea...and might well be for each and every of their 100 stores
pk

If you start playing, Gas.zorrak wrote:good point I started thinking of that shortly after. Gas or wardrobes you think would be better production line?
To make a profit on wardrobes you need high research and new companies don't have them.
But for a new companie on a server which already exists this long, don't do retail but go production.
For a real fast start i would suggest power plants.
Then when they reach a decent size start selling them and replace them with another industry which you allready researched when you were producing power.

I don't think that is possible anymore.warrior1993 wrote:i think profits can get higher if you can push the gas prices up
Gas is a great product at the start of the game when there isn't any wardrobe research yet.
Wardrobes is a long term product which relates on research more then Gas to get a profit.
I wonder when finally the wardrobe market reaches 100% supply
