Exactly the answer one would expect from someone who closes his eyes for the big picture.Straw Man wrote:It's more important that shop owners manage their supplies than nudge prices higher. Since KL transactions are secret, you'll never get people to cooperate with each other.
Nobody seems to know exactly how shop NPC's determine even the current demand with respect to price, never mind some future higher price regime. However, the pressing issue for many players is matching supply to shop sales, not squeezing out a little more profit. You can't ask someone to set a higher price in his furniture stores while wardrobes are piling up in his warehouse. He wants to price so that his shops consume the output of his factories.atanesa wrote:My point is, if we raise the price of important profitable products, then we will be able to raise prices of their elements, and a lot more suppliers will be availble than before because they would be making a lot of profit.
My posts were general and I'm in Realm 2. If you're trying to organize some kind of action in Realm 1, I won't post any more in this thread.atanesa wrote:Like i said, im not forcing you to enter this topic, I SAID IF YOU ARE WILLING, so please dont say stuff that im forcing people to sell, if they have a pile of wardrobes, then they shoudnt join. You are not getting my point straw man  .
Why would they be piling up in his warehouse???Straw Man wrote:Nobody seems to know exactly how shop NPC's determine even the current demand with respect to price, never mind some future higher price regime. Hmm, last time i checked Jewelry wasn't that stable and sellers had to use certain sales methods to keep them profitable..Azer Productions wrote: I don't see a reason to "raise" the price of those products on Realm 1. Why? They are already at the PRICE CAP. The price cap will never change so trying to raise the price of a CAP item will not work.
It would be better to try and raise the price of an unstable item such as wool, bottled cocoa or ice cream in stores.
There are several ways of preventing piling up of stuff in warehouse:Straw Man wrote:However, the pressing issue for many players is matching supply to shop sales, not squeezing out a little more profit.
