Oh the balance is totally screwed ;)

If i was amillionaire and owned kapilands i would get some of the best scripters possible in to make new ways tobalance the economy out more. For example raise the average price items are bought for or lower the price large items are bought for, but alas the owners dont have millions :P

Wardrobes, gas, leather jackets, computers, printers, oil, televisions are all good markets... but

Food, toys etc are bad.

Toys can be ok though as if sold via market they reach a high price for the fact they are used in kindergarden things... but look at milk for example. in germany over 1billion milk is in demand but the supply is sod all... shouldn't all our workers be dead?!?!?!

I think the food idustry should be highly incouraged. I like people like farmboy who make things which can be used to make food eg cattle, but the fact is people buy them for other things... I think that if the food industry was made more appealing via higher prices kapilands would be a lot more realistic... how about if the supply of food all added up drops below 50% then everyones efficiency decreases? Well would be fun but would never be programmed and would just change the game XD

And before you call me a hypocrite for making gas I also make and sell apples ;)

I agree with Flex, things are not balanced.
Wardrobes, gas, leather jackets, jeans, computers, printers, oil, televisions are all good markets... but
Jeans?!? Jeans are horrible unless you group with Toys for the special buildings. Then you can make a little profit but they are never very good.

Messenge for all:
i think that if big companies start to do investiments in this area, this situation can change, but its so dificult to you take for example a big company like FOREX and change all his company buildings and technology, also, i will try to make the difference doing investiments in this area =D

I will start acting in sausages and wine area

Messenge for brazilians:

Pff the reasons though that FOREX got all that money, fixed assets and technologies was because he chose a thriving industry and earnt money from that to get bigger and bigger.

Look at Farmboy, he's been playing as long as me but I quit for a few months. I came back and completely reset my industry. Now I have 2.4bil FA and I'm making a 400mil profit daily... He on the other hand as he chose cattle(Lets be honest not that big an industry) he has 1.2Bil FA, and less cash... OK sure you can claim he may of bought up coins and status symbols etc so forth and will shoot up at a later date but thats just an example.

If I started making apples full time it would take me 5 days to earn 17.49 caps per apple(0.51 is the warehouse price but I cba to work out "real" price) so 17.59/5 is 3.498caps per day per apple sold profit. I sell 200k apples in those 5days with a 5k store fully added in red.

Over 5days I make 3,498,000 profit total...

One of my factories can make 5,944,400 caps per DAY profit...

That's why big players dont change into bad areas ;)

but you have to see that you dont need to stay in apple selling, you can produce more industrialized products caming from apples like ice-creams and juice, and this products earn more, also, if this is "right", so the game is wrong, cause we dont have a balance between the food area and the other areas right?, if we had a better balance the profit could be more equal to gas or wardrobes for exemple(this can be do reducing the time of apple production for exemple)

Well..if you want to invest in some difficult areas all big and small players could begin by opening up 1 furnitureshop in Oman..it is only one shop so not much risk and we can see how we can make that area profitable.
It is a nice challenge and interesting too.

Well yes that is true, and food is an important product, after all every living being needs to eat.
But making food like sugar can be profitable by selling it on the market, only not in a store, so maybe people who own groceries and beverages stores should raise the prices in their stores, and see how high they can get the average sellingprice.
Ofcourse then everyone must do so.
We can do a lot to influence the prices I have noticed.
Is there not a Union of food and beverage store owners to discuss these things?
If not, there should be.

TIB-ft has a Food and Beverage Syndicate. However, they have simply discovered the price cap on store products will never be better than Special building offers.

Pfff i know a farmer in France who owns one of the biggest "milk" farms(Dunno if it's right to call it cattle, cause that infers meat? Right or wronf farmboy :P) over there and he makes literally 20,000 euros a year from this massive thousands of acres of farmland... All that work for a 20k euro profit. The government then give him an extra 200,000 euros though as they know how cr*ppy the food market is :P

So no the game is balanced right... just there isnta government to give handouts to people like me :P
