Stone Prices R2

Post by Guest » 17.03.2009, 17:30

Hi.
:D
I just thought we could have a discussion about the stone prices in Realm 2.
They have risen so suddenly!
They used to be at about 15-16 only a month ago but now they're at 23-24 each and for a few days during the Minerals contest they were at 25-26 caps! This is Realm 1 prices!

One of the reasons is that because of the mineral contest the stone producers changed their production to minerals for a bit so in that week or two there were a lot less stones being made but the same amount of stones being bought. This made the prices shoot up! And they haven't really had a chance to lower since. Maybe the prices will stay there!
Last year the stone prices were at 23 caps buit only for a month or two, this time I think the stone prices should stay there!!!!

Happy posting! :D

Stone prices where going up even before the Minerals contest. However, the minerals contest did push up the price of stone. My outlook is demand is increasing by leaps and bounds again. I produce 16M stone daily and contract it all out. Usually, I have some extra for myself and one time deals but that hasn't been the case for over one month. There have been times where I have bought stone from the market just to keep up with my contractors increasing their daily amounts.

I figure prices will come down in a bit in the next two months. Just don't get your hopes up for ever seeing stone for 15 or 16 caps again. (Unless you get stone contracted to you. My price of stone is still only 17 caps.)

Well, I see...yes...
But why don't you sell some of your stones on the market (like 2 million a day or something) and make the most of the higher prices.

If you calculate:

Let's say you now sell all 16 million of your stones daily on the market for 22 caps. The market fee is 10% so if you sell on the market you sell for the equivalent of 19.8 caps by contract...
That's 2.8 caps profit times 16 million which equals 44.8 million caps more profit a day, so if you do this for the next two weeks while you still have the high stone prices you could make 672.2 million caps more profit!
WOW!

That's what i would do if I were you...

Oh and by the way if you don't change your mind then I'll buy 300,000 of your stones, that is if you have any more to send...

My Realm 2 account doesn't focus on making a profit. I give great deals to my fellow TIB members on stone instead of selling on the market. Outside of spending a little money on expanding I just try and help smaller companies by buying Kindergarden items from them. ;)

As I posted for a quote a few days ago:
A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.

Henry Food Hospital(One of the best hospitals in the country), Henry Ford Museum(The best museum in the world for nonpainting and sculptured art) and the Ford Motor Company(No loans from the government needed as they are doing fine). What part of his business isn't what it used to be?

So Ford not needing any loans from the government proves that the automobilebusiness is still doing well??

Explain that to GM/Honda/Toyota dude...
And i wonder why Ford is trying to sell Volvo when business is still great...

About that hospital...YAWN...
I won't even bother responding to your statement about the museum after reading the other claim you made...

I expect it to drop even more in the near future.
It might take a week, it might take a month, but i expect it to go down to at least 17 and probably 15 each.

22 is just to much right now especially compared to other products that are being produced there.
Just check the minerals.

2 contests within 2 months just made the realm run out of stones and it will take some time to recover.
