Power Supply from the market

Post by Guest » 26.10.2008, 15:24

Ok my husband and I both play. My main product is power I do produce some water for wood for expansions. I put power on the market always .01 kaps cheaper then lowest. I was looking at the power market yestarday and today and power been at the npc price. I understand why I cannot send hubby a contract for power that is cool. (cause I would over charge him) Just wondering why he can't just buy my power off the market especially when I am the only player with power on the market. I just watched him buy 100million Kaps worth of power from the npc even though I had power on the Market at .26

The basic question is can my hubby buy my product off the market?

Honey....

Seriously I am not going to risk buying your products on either realm 1 or 2 it just not worth the risk of getting banned!!!! You and I are doing just fine you have plenty of people already buying your power. I am not going to buy it from the market I have not seen anywhere where this is legal. Also I know and have read the post of sending it to a third party to sell it to me I am not doing that either. It does not bother me to pruchase power from the NPC at .27 just means their needs to be more people making power I guess but then again the game does need some way to get some of the kaps out of circulation.

And there is a simple rule stating that trading via the same IP is not allowed. Trading via the same IP suggests multi-accounting which is strictly against the rules.
And it cannot be checked if it is indeed multi-accounting or not...
I am sure you can understand this. :)

I guess since GoldenEye is a moderator I will have to accept it. I enjoy the game and I do not want to get my account banned nor my husbands. I guess I really can see how multiple accounts someone really could take advantage. Mu husband showed with excell spreadsheets how much easier it would be for someone with multiple accounts could optimize themselves to inflate their success.

regarding the power...
it is not so bad to buy power at npc prices...
i rather buy it at npc price that at 0.25.

the only problem is the 2 much clicking...
cause u can buy only 10 mil at once...
and u need to write 10000000 every time...
that is anoying...

@ networker:
Since a few days the amount at the NPC is 100 million units. ;)
I guess that is a little bit better. :D

And just another hint: You can type in 100 millions and then click on "buy", then use the "back"-button of your browser, click on "buy" again, use the "back"-button again, click.... and so one. ;)
So you don't have got to type in the 100 millions again and again. :)

GoldenEye

They are talking about realm 1 not realm 2

realm 1 the power price has started pushing the NPC boundary since a certain player started buying it for lots more than it was at that time :P

realm 2 hasn't really had that problem yet and i remember when realm 2 it was 0.06 :P

Well how come so much players are selling for more than NPC price ?
Is someone really buy those products ?

There are so many sellers that power prices should stabilize because it costs only .02 to produce a Kw of power ...

0.02 is the cost in yellow, where it gives the least profit and so you shouldnt build there.

the second thing, try to do this calculation:

you make 0.26 profit per unit of power and you make 100 million power per day. or you make say 200 profit per unit of some other product and you make 200 thousand units of that product per day. which one makes you more money?

or even better, ask yourself how much can you make with a decently researched product compared to power at higher levels (use http://www.kapitools.de)

the answer to this riddle will give you the answer why the power prices dont stabilize.

Thanks for your answer. But what about prices higher than NPC for Q0 products such as steel ?

If you gonna buy power, and saw Power from NPC at 0,27 and Power from other Player at 0,28, wich one would you buy? The cheaper. I am a big buyer of steel Q0 and almost the time I buy from NPC (cause it's cheaper than the other players).
