Beer Q3

Post by Guest » 28.07.2008, 22:14

Beer Q3 is MUCH harder than it sounds (without a food RC)!!

I'm using my Q16 seeds and Q5 corn to get = Q7 corn
Quartz Q3 to get = Q1 Quartz
Glass Q5 and Chems Q10 and Quartz Q1 = Q4 Glass
And Q1 beer research to get the Q3 beer overall.

Some of those inputs are quite high quality - how are the newbies coping with the Q3 beer?

Yes, it's a harder contest than the other ones... it is also a contest in branch of trade that has nearly no market... Q3 is also a higher quality than before... ;)
Yet: You have got enough time. This time the contest is three weeks long. :D

Try to find the best strategy to cope with this challenge. I am sure you all are able to find your way in this contest.
Yet I am really interested to read your thoughts about this contest.

And by the way: Beer tastes good. ;) But only for people over 18 (or 21 as in the States... :lol: ). 8)

Good luck - and much fun!

If you live in the states and want to drink, you could just buy some sunny D, it has the same alcohol content as american beers :P

Myth must be canadian...we all think American Beer tastes like P&^%

I use Corn Research 12 with seed 12 =Corn 8
Quartz RC 12 Minerals RC 9 for Glass RC 9 =Glass 4
makes nice Q3 Beer...
it did take awhile to achieve some of that research but there are various combinations to make Q3 Beer...or like I did when I was 1st starting .make and sell any of the ingredients.. :shock:

The alcohol content is fine.. But God they taste bad. Unfortunatly, I do live in America. I've got to pay 9 dollars and some change to get a bloody six pack of something worth drinking. It's hell on the wallet.

Just quote another example of making Q3 beer

I buy Q11 seed (0.78 cap) with my Q4 corn research => Q5 corn
I buy Q15 chemicals (45 cap) and Q5 quartz (7 cap), with my Q8 glass research => Q7 glass
And the cost to my beer is 17 cap each.

glass cost is not a significant part to beer production but since people does not usually make their own glass (I have contracted my glass out one month ago, when I was 20 days in Kapilands) , so the supply on the market is rare.

if I understand what you want to say, that is an argument, but for which assumption/oppinion? What do you wanna say?
Do you argue for high glass prices? Do you argue for producing the glass yourself?

Yes, you can say it is an argument, what I mean here is that, for most of the people, they usually contracted out their glass or producing their own glass, thus it is hard to find any glass in the market...

I built more beverage factories than I can make the corn for, which is making sense financially but yeah, getting q3 beer from bought corn is tough! This morning I used the wrong Q glass with my biggest corn stock and ruined all of it :? Tomorrow I'll finally have the beer and glass research to use Q0 corn with my own glass and I'm REALLY looking forward to that.

I have to say the higher quality certainly makes for a tougher and more interesting competition, although it's wickedly tough for the newbies who are normally helped a lot by the competitions. Even a newb who blundered and went into beverages is going to have a hard time getting the quality up.

Definitely agree - I've enjoyed getting all the research ready for this contest. Much better than say apples Q2 or something!!
