the trade-section is a horror for me

dozens and dozens of threads, weeks and months old. open threads !
if you watch them, sometimes a closed-post but no change in the topic.

prices from the beginning of the game.
prices - the buyer should be banned for

statussymbols for sale, ive bought them weeks before.

all the sticky rules are for nothing, i guess.

how the hell we should have an overview ?
is it so difficult to write close in the topic ?

see CLOSED six letters and two clicks, way past my IQ

but I totally agree with you yeah there are times when I forget about the thread as you have done a few times your self CMB, but every time some of these are guys arent doing it

mabye they would think about putting on a few extra mods and that being there goal, to seek out post without company names and to close threads which haven't been posted or updated in say 1 week? mabye 2 weeks?

im sure u could find a few ppl in the community who would be able to give some time to do this ( i for one have too much time on my hands while i wait for my next mmo to come out either AOC or warhammer

)

I spend at least two hours a day on the forums, I even sent an application in for a newspaper editor like January or maybe December of 07 and havent even heard that it was turned down.

oh and on my thoughts od adding a few mods to moderate the trade section

u could make them only trade section mods with the title "Trade moderator" and yeah give them the goal of looking after and closeing old trades

because like CMB says its a very messy section

By the way: Please do not worry about old threads... just ignore them.

But we will try to be more consequent in this point in future, if this is really such a problem.

hey i just made an angry post in the auction section on realm 2, i know CMB doesn't like r2, but its a prime example of the trade section not being looked after properly, its an auction with no end date which has been going for like a month...? :S

Yes, I just saw your postings - and removed them as it's discussion in the trade section and - this is even more important - unjustified.

Please avoid this in future. Just send me a PM, then we can clarify everything.
About that special auction: I don't know what your problem is with that auction. It is absolutely all right and there is no need to discuss how long auctions can go on.
If someone decides that his auction shall go on for a month - well, why not? Just an example: He might want to auction off a huge building that is still in expansion (maybe about 1,000 hours, which could be a 4,000sqm-plantation). Why should we forbid things like this?

Please don't worry about the moderators-team any more... Be sure that we will look for new team-members if we think it's necessary.

That thread was pure sarcasm.

I haven't seen the thread they are both discussing about, so I'll keep my mouth shut. I know it is removed by now, so any further arguments about it are unnecessary and meaningless.

The same rules still apply: A deadline MUST be posted in the auction thread (both in the subject and text), the duration of the auction, that is the date of deadline is determined by the author of the auction and can be freely decided upon. Changing the deadline does not correspond to current rules.

If the subject has been switched to Auctions (:-)), I think it's more important that Auctions are not enforced. I had bitter such experience recently -and it was not set straight.

With contracts, where there is not any rule enforcement from what I've seen on the forum, one can choose their own partners. Not so with auctions. Hence I'll be reluctant to set up an auction again in the future.

my goal by opening this thread was, to get some new mods for the trade-section. i dont have enough time, to do this job. but if necessary, i try to do my very best.

pls - dont annoy each other. no reason for.
