Great idea myth... you are my idol 8)
Perhaps also an option for me.
At the moment I am sometime clearing up the boring power and stone market. And not really clearing - just buying the cheapest offers. Normal way it works. But perhaps you will found a trade organisation and rule the world? Could be a nice idea...

I am sorry, but I don't see the point. What you end up with, is a warehouse full of junk you can't use. Your money is better spent on expanding your buildings and buying materials you can use in production. A warehouse full of ice cream doesn't raise your fixed assets or score, so why bother with this?

The only instance I can see where this would be beneficial, is with a product you produce and sell at market. Say you make golden necklaces, you might buy up all the cheaper golden necklaces on the market before placing your own offers. This would allow you to monopolize the market and set the price, until someone else came along and put more necklaces out there cheaper. This strategy may work for some products, and it could benefit your company. Otherwise, you are just wasting money you could be using to expand.

But now... I have a ton of pet food on the market at the moment, if you just need something to buy.

Regretfully, that is not the problem with coins.
The problem with coins is they allow people to spend more real money than the next player and 'buy' a win.
This makes it not a game, it makes it a 'disposable income contest'. (as are so many of these browser games) It also leaves the top players with nothing at all to be proud of except the fact they had more cash to spend here than somebody else.

A shame too. They really have something here. If they'd do some expansion and improvements and get rid of coins as they exist now I'd be happy to pay a 3 or 4 euro a month fee to play on a level playing field in a fascinating game.

The owners would probably make a better and more dependable income too.

I have built my little company with very little coin assistance. I have only sold 20 coins for about 10 millions since I joined last december. I am not a billionaire, but I can and do have some real pride in what I have built, the hard way.

I for one wouldn't pay a monthly fee to pay this game - neither would the 12 year olds that currently play!

rotflmao. how much have you spent on coins to get where you are?
Is it that you don't like games that depend entirely on skill and good judgement and you require the 'money edge' to be successful?

Never used real money to buy coins - it's kind of against my religion!
I got to this point by playing forever. I think Realm 1 started in January 2007 - so if you'd been there from the start you'd probably be in the top 10 by now

I'll take that at face value and offer an apology for my insinuation.
I notice now you've been in the game just over a year..about twice as long as i have. I'll be where you are in just another couple months so I have to believe it.

Trash? You mean you buy stuff then throw it away? That really is a waste. I get bored sometimes too, but it doesn't make me insane!! :) Try getting involved with other types of business, or buy some special buildings and do the quests. If nothing else, buy coins and use them to buy status symbols, at least you have something to show for your investment.

Sorry, don't mean to be telling you how to play your game, it is really up to the individual. I've just never been at the point where I felt I had money to throw in the trash here, it always seems there are better uses for it.
:D

i only throw a way a small % of it ( about 10-15%) just becasue when i buy up a whole market, i get about 10-15 different qualities and i dont fell like setting a specific price for each one. I also do it just to be different and to be recongnised, i dont knowof another person in all of kapilands doing it so i like that and hoplfully its getting around that im going to buy up the gas market. You are right though Halee my money would be better spent on expanding or buying coins but oh well

oh and btw im 85% sure that i will be able to buy up the gas market buy the end of august

good one, some basta*** ask just 22+Q for gas now a days, if I have Q9 I wont sell it to them for just 31, they'll have to come up with a price around 50, if someone will buy up the market, maybe they'll start buying for higher prices !

yes i probably would, and if i was to buy up the gas market every body, i would buy say 3billion of it but i would be able to sell all that for about 2.5 billion so i would only be loosing about 3-4 days of profit
