it would be nice to hear some facts about selling the diamond rings since i dont have a jewelry store. i asked one of my friends who has jewelry stores to do some research about diamond rings and i found that the profits are just outrageously lowjin wrote:but the profit in stores is phenomenal. and i mean really phenomenal. at times you can make more than 3 times profit than wardrobes (well since wardrobes seem to be the most popular store product, i'll use it as a standard to compare against)
What wrong with the diamond market?

if you sell your own diamond rings when theres only a 60% supply you can sell for liek 15,000+ per ring whihc is a lot of money! but if the person had lots of mines instead of making diamonds it would be smarter to make stones-if though you only have a 100m2 mine-which in my case can only make 12,500 stones a day- then it might be worth buying the other neccecary buildings and selling diamond ringsGREED inc. wrote:thats a bit contradictory to your statement that diamond rings = high earning business or did i misunderstand completely yet again
so i did make some diamond rings and the warehouse price was 650 caps-since i make my own power and water the price is probally closer to 1,000 caps
but if you manage to sell 10 a day @15,000 then thats 140k profit- but ofc you would need to expand and advertise your store so therefore it can be a very expensive buisness with a low demand compared to supply- BUT since like cars they sell for a lot they are highly profitable
get me now?

no i dont, i need to know how big your stores are
its a difference if you sell 10 rings in a 100 sqm store or a 10k sqm store. of course, the difference between selling price and warehouse price (or market price, for that matter) can be huge, but if you make 1.5 million profit in one day with a, say, 5k sqm store thats a bit low.
