the 10 commandments is in the old testament and is now irrelvant...all you need to do is believe in jesus christ and that he died for you and youre saved (romans 10:9, john 3:16) becuase he has forgiven all our sins from the past and future.
pk i actually believe athiesm is the well trodden path where society is constantly bombarded sexual connotations and inappropriate acts. Christianity is the fish going the other from the rest of the pack and becuz of that you are discriminated by others..you must realise Christianity is still a minority compared to the rest of the world.
I made a choice that i will follow jesus even though the path, i know will be bumpy and coarse, Atheism is the straight well-laid out path that people take.
i actually dont even goto church and im quiet the troublemaker in our school and i break/broken every rule in the 10 commandments except for murder... but some people i mislead to believe that chrisitanity is like squeezing thru a very tiny hole but it rly isnt like tthat. its not about trying to never commit sin or mourning becuz you did something wrong and you have to ask for forgiveness, its just a relationship wif u and him and you have the peace of mind that hes forgiven your every sin and luvs u heaps.....
im probly that the best example of a christian that you shud streotype...
ps: i also believe that earth was formed millions of years ago and everything but i think that God put the ingredients nesccary to start a bigbang and then just let it all happen, that is the best of both worlds

Would that not be hypocritical?? How can one be a firm believer in Christ and break "all" of the 10 Commandments??
I did not proclaim myself to be an Atheist...more like Agnostic..and I have not broken any of the 10 in the past 5 years..to the best of my knowledge.
So would that make me a better Christian than you??...I dont really think so but then I am but a mere human being and judgement is in the eye of the Lord. I do not judge people by their religion I read their character by their actions..wether that be in life or in this game.Persons try to hide their true self behind a change in name/location/ whatever but eventually the true character of the person comes out...they have only changed their outward appearance but deep down nothing has changed.
Following a different path is not easy,living by that path day after day after day is even harder.

Would that not be hypocritical?? How can one be a firm believer in Christ and break "all" of the 10 Commandments??
I did not proclaim myself to be an Atheist...more like Agnostic..and I have not broken any of the 10 in the past 5 years..to the best of my knowledge.
So would that make me a better Christian than you??...I dont really think so but then I am but a mere human being and judgement is in the eye of the Lord. you can still be the richest guy on earth who gaives billions to charity and tell every1 about it and still not get to heaven but a poor person who can only give few cents can. theres no such thing as a better christian, you are either one or not. and God does not take sides or favour anyone, he loves us all equally.In other words he has 7billion favourite humans =)
A beliver in christ does not (I REPEAT) mean you cant ever break commandments and commit sins.!! also the 10 commandments are now IRRELEVANT since Jesus came.
If God wanted us never to break any rules then he would have made us perfect robots but he didnt and gave us free will. I am not perfect and i don't live to be, and that is not the main goal of a christian.
I tend not to judge people based on anything but i just accept them for who they are. Before you start making judgements and pointing fingers make sure your hands are clean =P
I believe you can't analyise anyone character by what you see as that is not their identity in entirety. A person's certain actions are all a consequence of their retrospect thus i believe nobody is fully evil and that their surrounding environment made them adapt into the person they are.
If a certain person does a particular act towards you,b4 you judge them , try and change your behaviour/actions towards them and you'll be reciprocated.
The further you walk a path the easier it gets but harder to turn back.

What I got from your conversation seems to imply that it does not matter how you live your life..break every commandment..etc etc

With so much unethical behaviour by CEO's of large corporations I think the 10 Commandments are very relevant in this day and age. There seems to be a complete lack of ethics and scruples by quite a few.There also seems to be a lack of empathy by most people in your age group.Is this a lack of religious training ? Or is this a case of I can do what I want because Jesus will forgive me?
