Some questions to think about?

Jinny
you must still be young and being brainwashed by your
religion.
StatusQuoFan: Moses parted the waters to escape the Egyptians..so
who cares about Roman Chariots under the Dead Sea???
God is not a "person" God is an Idea.. Ancient Man needed to believe
that they would not just be worm food after death They needed to believe
in a "reward" for leading a good life. He cannot and was not created because physically he does not exsist..he exsists only spiritually.
All religions basically believe in the same "God" under different human interpretations..

Hey! There's nothing wrong with pk.
But you, jinny, don't understand this thread. It's about being philosophical about the question "is God real". You can't just say, "oh, yeah. God is real because I'm religious and believe in it". You have to look at the big picture and take ALL views into consideration. Maybe you could learn something...

Religion easily has the best bullshit story of all time. Think about it. Religion has convinced people that there
with age does not necessarily come wisdom..sometimes disillusionment come with age. In my case I decided at an early age that maybe what the Jesuits were teaching me was a little biased and the more I read up on other religions as well as Jesuit history just confirmed my "free thinking" . Anyways I firmly believe that you need not follow a set religionjinny1 wrote:wow i feel sorry for you even though youre old and supposdly "wise"...i dunno whats gone wrong wif u ...
nor attend their various forms of "Church" in order to live a good life and that the Supreme Being will notice.
Are you content to follow the well trodden path or can you think outside
of the box and create your own path??
