Guys, I dont have any problems with higher power prices, because all the other prices will go up eventually too ^^ This means bigger profits for me...

But you have too think about yourself too man...
If you get powerprices for about 0.25... this means 0.24 cent each power... (or 0.22 cent in red)
Result is a massive income for powerproducers.. This will lead to more beginners who are going to create their own power to sell it... and other people with big company's will maybe make their own power.
Result... drop in demand + Increasement in supply
Again this will result in lower prices...
After all you have short time mega profits and after a couple of months you got your low profits again.

What is the point???

this is why i don't want the price high, i want it around 0.2-0.22 just low enough so new company don't produce it

Its not massive profits, i have over 1 billion fixed assets all in power, and when my expansions are done i will make 800million power times that buy 0.21 (a bout how much i will make if i sell it at 0.23-0.24) then i will only make 168million a day, that may sound like allot, but look at NoobGasSteel (im using him because i did some calculations on him (was looking into the wardrobe market) he makes about 637.5million if he sell 250,000 ( he will soon be making between 200k-300k) Q11 wardrobes for 2550, and he oly has 850,620,750.00 fixed assets.

You do have to know I buy everything IN from the npc market :)
This will give me 2550 ea for wardrobes and price to creat them is 2200 ea ^^
So like 350 ea profit a wardrobe. So only like 87.5mil a day. (could double it when all expansion are done) So I am making the same profits as you do ^^. Only in the long run when I get my Q up to 21+. I earn more :)

But I will do some calculations for you: (Kapitools.de)

If we assume the power price will stay like 0,25 caps

32000 powerplant:
Red:
2.541.176,47 Power/h
76.235,29

there is your problem, instead of buying Q0 steel for 135caps, but Q 15 steel for 134.5=2.5 per Q. (you will get a suppler very fast) so your paying 35caps more for Q15 steel, but your getting a wardrobe that is almost 4Q higher, and every Q higher your wardrobe goes you can sell it for 50 more caps, so oyu spent 35 caps more, but you get and extra 200caps per wardrobe. And you can do the same thing with wood. I make wardrobes in my realm 2 company (i know the numbers will be different, but they will be kind of close) and i can make a Q11 wardrobe for 1227caps, and sell it for over 2700 caps ( i do the half rack every 24h thing)

I dont agree to that point

You do need to remember you need 5 steel or 20 wood all +4Q
So remember that if you do +2.5Q for steel will give the following:
2.5*Q*Amount each wardrobe
So lets say you have Q12 steel = 2.5*12*5 = 150 caps.
So your wardrobe will gain 3Q more
12/4 = 3 ^^

You spend 150 caps on 3Q higher.... and gain 150 caps back for 3Q higher...
no extra profit...
You will even lose cash if you get Q13 Q14 or something. Because that will give you 3.25 or 3.5 Q more... which will come to +3Q but you do pay more...
So extra steel isnt working.... unless you pay them +2Q... but than I have done the calculations you will need Q12+ to play at least even on every Q above.

With wood it is the same.
4Q needed for 1Q of wardrobes...
You need 20 wood for 1 wardrobe.
So lets say you pay 75+1Q.
This means 20 wood 4Q = 80 caps to spend on wood
To get 1Q higher wardrobe... WONT WORK.
So you cut it in half.

75+0.5Q = 40 caps if the wood is precisly Q4... if it is Q7 this will mean 1Q higher wardrobe but your still paying 70 caps (20*7*0.5).

So all in all buying higher Q of wood or steel doenst mean you DO make more profit.... You might be able to sell it for a higher price BUT you must know that your production price also rises...
So actually buying wood or steel at Higher Q is just stupid unless you calculated and found the right price ;)

but you are spending 135 caps on Q0 steel and gaining 0 Q so, you are spending an extra 15 caps (150-135=15) to get an extra 150caps per wardrobe

No ... I will explain you again...

Lets say I get Q12 !!
I buy steel for 135+2.5Q a steel like you said previously..
This means I have to pay 165 caps for each steel.
This means I pay 30 caps (165-135) more to get 3Qs of wardrobes extra...

According to your point of view I will make huges profits this way right????
Well I tell you I dont.
3Q of wardrobe = +150 caps resale price.

But since I need 5 pieces of steel for each wardrobe WHO ALL NEED TO BE EQUAL QUALITY this means 5*30 caps more for steel = 150 caps.

According to this... 150-150 = 0...

So no extra profit..

Count me in. I might have a plan guys here. First, we should get about 60-70 companys in this group. Second, we raise our power in the market.
before we rise the price, we have to organize a price, i was thinking 0.27-0.28. Then all companys will have to raise price and power stock will go crazy in price, and we have our price. If this doesnt work, we can just make ads for 0.27-0.28 prices, all companys will think with us and raise there power price. I've seen disadvantages in these two plans which might lead to buyers of power to start producing on there own and higher there prices, and all power price will drop again so there prices will drop, well thats a problem.

I am a small power producer (200 mill day), for my own needs I still need to buy on market 100 mill day. But I prefer to pay 0,27 at NPC than to pay between 0,23 to 0,26 to power producers, when I know that to produce 1kWh in red costs 0,03. Just my 2 cents.

I can only add, that due to the costs of the power I already bought a Power Plant in red with 16.000 sqm and I have been expanding other 9 power plants to 20.000sqm. Besides if you think that your turnover on assets is small, change into a profitable business, like wardrobes. Just remember that like me, there is other players that prefer to buy power from NPC than from other players. That's our way to make the producers to drop their prices.

Fight the power myth!

Get it, fight and power? hahahahaha. No really, we should stick to power, if people are buying from NYC, then our prices should be 0.27. Some of you think power is least profitable business, but it has the most of all demands because everything requires power. We forgot demands are so high, so i think power should be more worth than a 0.23, it should be 0.27-0.30 price.

Lol, that will never happen unless you can increase the NPC price which I highly doubt will ever happen. If all the power producers start selling at those prices, I bet everybody will buy from the NPC.
